Me: went
to Scarborough College after Woburn for a Batchelor
of Arts degree with a double major in business and accounting.
Followed that with completion
of a CRA certificate (Certified Residential Appraiser).
Worked as a certified residential appraiser for two
years leading to my current job.
Favourite
memory of Woburn would have to be my favourite teacher
Mr. Glickman.
What a super nice guy he was. |

About
Me: I married my sweetheart who I met in
my last year of high school on March 8, 2005, in Las
Vegas, Nevada.
He's going to be a high school English teacher, and
I plan to work in HR and eventually be a stay at home
mom and run a tax/bookkeeping office out of our home.
Still playing bridge and travelling more weekends
than not- I love it! I've lost touch with some of
my fellow Woburnites, hope this site can help us reconnect.
I'd love to hear how things are going with you. |

Me: left high-school in 1989, never graduated
and don't really regret it. I met my future husband
shortly after leaving high-school and we have been
together for 16 years, married for 11 of those years.
We have a wonderful son named Matthew who is now almost
10. Best memories of Wob, hanging with friends, the
smoking lounge and the wonderful Panzerotti's that
you could buy for $1.50 in the caf, and the coffee
shop, Denny's ... sneaking out of Science class to
go get munchies at 10:00am. The memories are endless......

About Me After spending the best 5
years of my life at Woburn I graduated from McMaster
with my Phys Ed. degree. I promptly joined CIBC
where I stayed for 22 years. They bought me
out and I'm now with Scotiabank. During that time
I was married for 20 years to a wonderful man (from
Cedarbrae!!), Rick Boustead. I have two great kids
Natalie 21 and Hayden 13. Regrettably we lost
their dad on July 1, 2002 to esophogeal cancer.
Rick was a true hero, he was a paramedic for over
25 years. A foundation has been established
in his name, The Richard Boustead Foundation for Children's
Charities. Please go to our website to
find out more about the foundation at
www.rbfcc.com
It is impossible for me to pick a best memory, but
my work with Des McAnuff and the crew in Urbania and
Champion will always be highlights. It was so
exciting to be a part of such a unique experience.
I can't tell you how proud I was when I watched Des
receive his first Toni award on Broadway. I
still am good friends with many of my fellow Woburnites,
some go back even to public school. A bunch
of us went to Vegas this year to celebrate our 50ths.
Funny, most of still feel and act 16!!!!!!!!!!
I'd love to get in touch with anyone from those days
to catch up. |

Me: Tried UofT for 2 years after Woburn,
partied too much and got nothing. Joint the
construction trade and attended York U nightschool,
got my BA Comp Sci and am currently working for The
City of Toronto I&T Department. Got married
6 years ago to a great woman and adopted a wonderful
boy 2 yrs ago.
Best
memories include just hanging out in the caff and
the main entrance with friends. Beating the
awol system. Scrambling to get your yearbook
signed by everyone. But mostly, I miss the
innocense of school compared to the complexity of
life. |

About
Me I joined IBM for a year after
graduating in '77 then moved on to a University of
Toronto start-up company in '79. After 14 years, stress
took the shine off of engineering so I spent a little
time to myself before working a spell at Apple Computer
in '93. Itchy feet struck again and off I went to
LensCrafters where I remain as a Lab Manager at a
Toronto location. I am happily single (never married,
no kids) and live in Scarborough. One of my
fondest memories is taking the bloated rubbery remains
of a Grade 11 biology dialysis experiment "for
a walk" around the school's corridors between
periods. Now that's entertainment! |
