Me: After Woburn, I attended the University
of Toronto for four years, living at Innis Residence
and completing an undergraduate degree in Engineering
Science. After this, I did a Master's in Mathematical
Finance (also at U of T) and began work at Northwater
Capital. I have been at Northwater for over two years
now.
My favourite memory of Woburn is participating in

Me: I am currently a second year engineering
student at Queen's University studying Mathematics
and Electrical Engineering. Everything else has been
pretty much the same since Woburn. Can't really put
things into words though ... :)
My best memory of Woburn was probably my last year
when all the teachers just couldn't care less to teach
in the last months of school left. Especially the
times where Mr.Wright had his desk moved to the bathroom
and, well other random events from the gifted classes.

Me: A lot of ladies were interested in the
same college course, which meant we'd all be competing
for jobs at the end. So, after starting 13, I quit
upon an opening at Birchmount for a special 1 yr Commercial
course to get the skills to go straight to the accounting
workforce. I fell into computer operating which has
become extinct, so I have gone back to accounting/payroll
in Scarborough. I married for a short stint &
have no kids, but pets instead. I'm currently single.
I have owned & fixed my own homes, & finally
moved out of Scarberia to Brooklin(old part, so a
big lot to garden) which is fast becoming Scarborough
before my very eyes. I w/e at Pigeon Lake & still
plan to see Europe - 1 day!. I still keep in touch
with a few of our 10 girl Woburn gang & even see
Churchill Hts P.S. alumni. Best memories -front foyer
mural, Work week at the Ojibway Indian Reservation,
Spain trip, Murder Inc. matches, getting off school
to watch home football games, not to mention smoking
(quit) & hanging out in the quadrangle.

1987, and have two children. Just finished writing
a book with another ex-Woburnite, Laurie White (now
Lonsdale). Best memory of high school - partying,

Me: After graduating from Woburn, I started
the Computer Science program at U of T. Midway through
year 2, I figured out that I was going to receive
a free year off, courtesy of my G.P.A., so I applied
to Centennial College in a newly created double-major,
Computer Programming and Accounting. During year 3
at Centennial, I was lucky enough to have a work placement
with the Bank of Montreal, and I will be celebrating
19 years with the Bank in May 2005. I was married
May of 1988, and have a very sports-minded 12 year
old daughter to show for it.
Favourite
memories include breaking my ankle on the first day
of Grade 9, showing up with crutches and funky plaid
pants. |

Me: The
years at Woburn were great! I travelled, after those
years, which probably provided me with as much education,
as Woburn did. I've now spent almost 30 years in the
adhesives industry, in a variety of sales and senior
management positions. Today, my 2 kids are in their
20's, grown and gone. I'm working my way towards retirement
in Costa Rica. While it's difficult to try and include
my best memory of Woburn, I won't forget running around
that damn track, in cold Oct, with a pair of thin

Me: Married in Sept 1990 (husband's name
is Brian). Have been living in Ajax for the past 15
years and still see quite a few Woburnites on a regular
basis but always glad to meet up with old friends
and classmates (and teachers too). Since leaving Woburn,
I attended Ryerson for Lab Science and have worked
at Med-Chem Labs and ULC both in Scarborough. Am currently
working at Haremar Plastics in Concord in Quality
Control testing.
My
best memories of Woburn were of the people who attended
during my years there (not just my year, but in other
grades too). The smoking lounge and quadrangle were
favourite places to hang out.
Best teachers were Mr Bell, Ms Latta, Mr Carlton,
Mr Haigh, Mr Zolis, Mr Fowler and Mr Seshadri.
I
remember our movie outing in Grade 10? to see Romeo
and Juliet at the Bijou Cinema which was arranged
by Mr Haigh. Football finals at CNE Stadium. Larry
Stevens on CWCI. Outing
Club trips to find the Grizzly Frog. Too funny. Like
to hear from anyone who wants to share WCI memories.
